प्रकाश संश्लेषण एक रेडाक्स व उष्माशोषी अभिक्रिया है। जिसमें स्वपोषित पौधे , सूर्य के प्रकाश की उपस्थिति में व पर्णहरित की सहायता से कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड और जल को ,, कार्बोहाइड्रेट , जल और ऑक्सीजन गैस में बदल देते हैं।
